Chalet Cairn is operated by a major ski operator now offering upgrade chalets for winter ski. Although it may not be quite as decadent as some properties within our portfolio, we felt it matched in many other ways and has lots to offer including the fact that it is available on a catered basis and has the option be booked with UK flights and transfers.

The chalet has comfortable, modest decor throughout with an open plan living space and 6 en suite bedrooms. There is a great bunk bed addition in one of the bedrooms which we know is an option often sought out by those with slightly younger children.

It is the location though which really can’t be ignored. On the lakeshore of Tignes Le Lac, Chalet Cairn overlooks the lake and the dramatic surrounding mountains. Hot tub on the terrace, and sauna with a fabulous viewing window offer every opportunity to take in the restorative mountain air.

The slopes are just a three minute walk away, the nearest lifts being the Toviere gondala and Palafour chairlift and the free shuttle bus even stops right outside the chalet.

Bedrooms

All rooms are provided with a hairdryer, bed linen, towels and toiletries. Twin beds can be made up as doubles on request.

ROOM 4: Twin and bunk beds in a partially separated sleeping area. Bath with handheld shower, WC and balcony
